And over time, we learned to quiet ourselves… to push down what we felt… to believe that emotions were something to control, hide, or even be ashamed of.But what if that was never the truth? What if emotions are not a weakness—but a kind of guidance?Emotions are our sixth sense.I don’t remember my parents ever teaching me about emotions. I don’t remember learning about them in school. There was no real understanding of what they meant or how to navigate them—only the message that some emotions were acceptable, and others were not.Over the past three years, on my path to healing, I began to discover something deeper—what I now see as my emotional guidance system.Emotions aren’t random. They’re not here to sabotage us. They’re signals. At the most basic level, I’ve come to understand them in two directions:those that feel expansive, and those that feel constrictive. What we often call “negative” emotions—like anger, sadness, fear—aren’t bad. They’re indicators. They point to something within us that needs attention, healing, or truth. And what we call “positive” emotions—like joy, love, peace—are signals too. They often show us alignment, connection, and clarity. The problem isn’t that we feel. It’s that we were never taught how to listen.Learning to understand your emotions is like learning a language you were always meant to speak. And once you begin to listen, really listen, something changes. You don’t feel controlled by your emotions anymore. You begin to feel guided by them.Maybe being “too emotional” was never the issue.Maybe it was always the beginning of awareness.</news:title></news:news></url><url><loc>https://thevibrationalalchemist.blog/2026/04/29/why-i-started-this-blog/</loc><news:news><news:publication><news:name>The Vibrational Alchemist</news:name><news:language>en</news:language></news:publication><news:publication_date>2026-04-29T13:33:26+00:00</news:publication_date><news:title>Why I started this Blog</news:title></news:news></url></urlset>
